black jack is a game that reminds me of a wild ride. It’s a game that starts off slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you ramp up your bank roll, you feel like you are getting up to the top of the coaster and then when you are not expecting it, the bottom falls.
black jack is so akin to a roller coaster the similarities are bizarre. As is the case with the popular fair ground experience, your black jack game will peak and things will seem as though they are going great for awhile before it bottoms out once again. Of course you have to be a black jack player who can readjust to the ups and downs of the game given that the game of black jack is full of them.
If you like the little coaster, one that cannot go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the coaster ride is with a much bigger bet, then hop on board for the rollercoaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high-stakes gambler will love the view from the monster wild ride because they are not mentally processing the drop as they rush quickly to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s an amazing feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to twist and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.
If you don’t, you will not necessarily recall how much you enjoyed the view while your profit was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a wicked ride … your head in the sky. As you are recalling "what ifs", you won’t always remember how "high up" you went but you will clearly recall that disappointing drop as clear as day.
