I have wagered on millions of rounds of 21. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of money at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it nearly impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this method or defeat the casino, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that chemin de fer seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very exciting at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a few years back with $750 after 45 mins using this technique! And a number of days ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Bet $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the initial 5 dollar wager
Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Bet $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first $10 bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first $40 wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet
Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial one hundred and sixty dollar wager
If you left at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
