I have gambled on millions of hands of 21. I began working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have gambled on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to beat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this method or defeat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy 21. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets very exciting on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a couple of years ago with $750 after 20 minutes using this technique! And a number of weeks ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Bet 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of $40
Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $40 bet
Bet $40
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $80
Wager $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar wager
Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial one hundred and sixty dollar bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
